この調査は都市空間をどこでも居場所にするうえで、生活に不可欠な電力の供給源を確保するために、屋外にある電源コンセントの位置を把握しようというものだ。これは、あくまで都市空間のポテンシャルを明らかにするためで、屋外とはいえ、電気を勝手に使用することは犯罪である。しかしこれがもし可能であれば、携帯電話やラップトップパソコンはもとより、炊飯器で御飯も炊けてしまう。そうすれば、我々の生活範囲は飛躍的に拡大し、家や建物に留まらないライフスタイルが生まれるはずである。
This research’s purpose is to mark the outdoor outlets in order to ensure the electricity supply to make all of city space into one’s personal space. The purpose is to elucidate the potentials of city space, and of course using outdoor outlet without permission is illegal. But, if this turns out to be possible, we can use cell phones, laptop PCs and can cook rice with a rice cooker. As a result of such, our scope of activity will widen dramatically, and a lifestyle which doesn’t rely on houses and buildings will be born.
