グラフィティ美術館
街中にあるグラフィティをつなげ、形の無い美術館を構築する。
醜悪なものから美しいものまで様々なグラフィティが都市には点在している。なかには世界的に有名なライターの作品まで。しかしそのどれもが無記名である。その無記名の作品たちに、空白のキャプションをつけていく。美術館においてキャプションは作品を権威づける極小の装置なのだ。
キャプションをつけられたグラフィティを地図にマッピングして配布することで、グラフィティ美術館の外形が現れる。
Museum of Graffiti Art
By connecting graffiti everywhere in the city, thus we construct amorphous museum. From ugly to beautiful, there are many kinds of graffiti in the city.
They include works by world-famous “writer”. But all of these works are anonymous. We add empty caption to these anonymous works. In a museum, caption is a tiny device which gives authority to the works. By mapping the captioned graffiti to the map and distributing the maps, external form of the graffiti museum appears.
